Who We Are
Organization For Recovery, Inc. was founded in July 1997 as a private, non profit treatment program primarily designed to treat opioid addiction to individuals 18 years and older through medication assisted treatment. OFR also offers a medication assisted treatment for those individuals who are able to pursue recovery goals with minimal support.
Organization for Recovery provides comprehensive, high quality addiction treatment services and is a community resource preventing, reducing and eliminating harm caused by substance abuse for the surrounding communities
These values guide Organization for Recovery in accomplishing our mission:
- Patient Centered Care
- Interdisciplinary Treatment
Philosophy Of Treatment
OFR’s philosophy of care includes a total commitment to high quality substance abuse treatment to all patients of race, ethnic origin, HIV status, sexual orientations, gender, age, or socio-economic status.
OFR addresses all life areas, assisting the client towards developing their recovery and becoming a more productive member of society.
Recognizing the disease of addiction model, OFR considers addiction to be a chronic, progressive disorder, subject to relapse, which affects the entire family and community at large. And although the course of the illness may vary in severity and chronicity from individual to individual, if left untreated, the individual will experience significant health, psychological, legal, and economic problems.
