Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) Training Program

The Addiction Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey have approved the first 6 months of the 270 hours CADC Course Curriculum at each of the three OFR locations. The remaining 6 months approval is pending subject to The Certification Board's proposed Domain re-design and restructuring efforts, however the dates and times at each location will not change. Students may take as many or as few courses as they need to complete their CADC educational requirement based on the current partial 2007 schedule posted.

For new students interested in the initial CADC training, the program takes approximately 11 months (attending class one day per week for 6 hours) to 15 months (attending classes one evening per week form 6-9 PM and one Saturday per month from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM) to complete.

Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) Training Program

APCBNJ has approved OFR's 30 hours curriculum (five 6-hour classes) of CCS coursework required to completed the CCS.  Students may take as many or as few courses as they need to complete their CCS requirement. 

All courses for Certification Credit have been approved:

*    APCBNJ, Inc. Provider #64

*    New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners for CEHs effective January 1, 2001.

*    Workforce New Jersey Training Provider (includes Division of Vocational Rehabilitation).

New Jersey Department of Education Registered N.J. Professional Development Provider.
